WORK HISTORY:

Professional Artist - Wildlife Illustration (1993) and Abstract Sculpture (present). Exhibited widely for 25+ years and created a wide range of whimsical, fluid, abstract 2-D and 3-D wire and steel sculptures.    Operated studios in Norman, OK and the Northshore of Boston 

Owner and Curator of Events and Exhibits (2014-2018) - Blue Wave Art Gallery, Amesbury, MA

Curated exhibitions, lecture series, and online sales for a collaborative workspace

Collaborated with artists, musicians, and performers to showcase their work and build community

           1989-1992. The Nature Conservancy (TNC).  Both at Niobrara Preserve in Northern Nebraska

and at Tallgrass Prairie preserve near Pawhuska, Oklahoma.   Published and gave talk in Toronto, Canada on three-tiered ecological hierarchy theory.  Hired by TNC to compile management guidelines for prairie ecosystem management.                       

 

         1990 -1993.  Instructor. Sam Noble Museum of Natural History.
Taught outdoor science education classes for children.
